Mingles Tsoi
Mingles is an experienced business development professional in creating new and innovative business models for clients. Formerly working as the assistant to president and finance manager for a medium-size real estate agency and land development company since 1988, he acquired extensive training and practical skills in business planning and bank financing on property development projects in Shanghai, Hong Kong and Macau.
Being enthusiastic in learning different aspects of business operations, Mingles was headhunted to a garment trading and manufacturing firm with primary focus in re-engineering and computerization of the financial and accounting system. During the employment from 1993 to 1997, he acquired hands-on experience in trade financing and cost accounting management.
Since 1995, he has successfully assisted several corporations building up the business model for internet ventures. In 1998, he started an executive search firm with a few alumni from the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), who were specializing in the recruitment of professionals in real estate related business, marketing, information technology and manufacturing sectors. Beyond the headhunting services, he also started providing business consultant services for internet start-ups and technology firms, acting as their financial consultant for merger and acquisition.
Mingles was formerly invited to contribute articles for Internet Magazine, PC Home and Ask100.com. He was also the part-time lecturer for IVE-Haking Wong in higher diploma course relating to Banking and Financial Management for China from 2002 to 2005. Now he is teaching Principles of Management in IVE-Shatin evening school.
He is enthusiastic in youth development, by providing voluntary mentoring and business training services to the Youth Business Hong Kong and Junior Achievement Hong Kong. As a proactive and sociable person, Mingles also contributes his experience and knowledge in developing alumni affairs for the CUHK, by mentoring undergraduates and organizing activities for students and alumni. He is one of the executive council members of the United College Alumni Association of the CUHK and one of the representative members for college in the Federation of Alumni Association of the CUHK.
Mingles holds a Bachelor degree of Business Administration from the CUHK since 1988, with accounting as major. He also obtained the Bachelor of Business from the University of Southern Queensland, Australia in 1998.
