I bought a Nexus One and attempted to register a Google Voice account. Finally I got an account opened but unable to activate with my mobile. Try leave your voice mail here through the web, but I am not sure whether it is working properly in Hong Kong.

What do stripping models have to do with the finance markets? Actually not, but creative mind links them together in order to make your financial investment less stressful.  Most people don’t want to see the market dropped, but the models removing layer should be a good compensation.

用了十多年PDA的我，完全習慣在細少的顯示器閱讀。不過，閱讀只是電子化的初階，電子書教學卻要更多配套軟硬件的張羅才成事。從純文字衍化為圖文聲畫並茂，肯定是越大又越輕的屏幕便是最精彩。至今硬件還是未達普及的價格水平，可以想像電子化的過程又是三年又三年的無了期。

感謝Sean Ho設計了一個很好用的app，讓我可以在iPod Touch下載新聞後離線閱讀。要隨身便攜就要犧牲一下，齋字走圖也得接受。如果能安然坐在室內，那麼香港經濟日報的電子版是較為好用的一套電子刊物。在24吋電腦螢光幕顯示全版報紙，閱讀視感良好，可以想像設計電子版的人是期待著大家可以將家裡的薄身電視連上網後，用遙控器左右上下推動報頁翻來覆去，那時候，真的環保年代的開始。

1. Be right on the fundamentals. Earnings growth drives stock price. There is essentially a 100% correlation with how a company does and how its stock performs over time. Focus on the fastest growing companies.
2. Be proactive, not reactive. Looking ahead and anticipating where the world is heading is how we catch winners early on. Try to predict what will be in tomorrow’s newspapers, as opposed to reacting to what is in today’s.
3. Be rigorous, but don’t have rigor mortis. It is possible to overanalyze opportunities. The best investments are often easy and intuitive.
4. When wrong, admit it. The best investors and analysts are wrong a lot. The worst thing to do is rationalize a mistake. Be intellectually honest. Make decisions based on fats now, not what you had thought to begin with.
5. The cockroach theory. You seldom find just one cockroach in a kitchen. Likewise, if you find a problem at a growth company, there are always more behind it. It’s rarely a one-quarter issue – the first loss is the best loss.
6. Investment ideas are about information and insight. Information is valuable if it is proprietary. Insight is valuable if we know what that information means.
7. The 4Ps are key for any successful growth company. As I said earlier, the 4Ps are People, Product, Potential and Predictability, and the first P, people, is the most important.
8. Use 5 independent sources for each stock you invest in. If possible, have a regular dialogue with the company management, but remember they will always see the glass as half full.
9. Find 3 main reasons for a stock to move up or down. In addition, identify near-term catalysts fro price movements. Maintaining a thesis for why you own a stock is key.
10. Finally, be passionate about investing, but dispassionate about the investment. The stock doesn’t have feelings or know you own it.
